Understanding the floor in all its complexity
For about 31 years I have been working full-time as an evaluator and expert witness all over Germany and abroad.
From the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Chemnitz (Germany)
(formerly known as Chamber of Industry and Commerce southwest Saxony – Chemnitz – Plauen – Zwickau)
publicly appointed and sworn expert witness on field of expertise of
"Industrial flooring"
and from the Engineering Chamber Saxonia on field
"Object space flooring and living areas flooring"
The full-time occupation as expert witness and consultant are the economic foundations of real independency.
Except in the case of special, further laboratory examinations or the extraction of larger cores e.g. from floor constructions, the preparation for the site visit, the management as well as the execution of all other inspection measures on site and in the laboratory up to the finalized report will be accomplished solely by me.
Despite the great diversity of the floors, I have taken up the cause, to check and to assess not only individual construction layers, but - and this is often the case, especially in multi-layered floor construction types - in its entirety, starting from the lowest layer to the last, so called wear layer.
Often the reason for the visible surface damage is found several construction layers deeper.
